After the Pahalgam terror attack, tension between Indo-Pak increased, PM Modi held high level meetings

The tension between India and Pakistan has increased considerably after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced strict action against the terrorists and their supporters after this attack.

National News: The tension between India and Pakistan has increased considerably after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced strict action against the terrorists and their supporters after this attack. Meanwhile, several high level meetings were held at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). These meetings discussed with the officials led by National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and Home Secretary.

Mock drills and training for civil protection

The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the states to organize mock drills as part of civil security preparations. Especially citizens and students have been planned to train to ensure their safety in circumstances like war.

Modi Holds Phone Conversation with Putin on Terrorism & Regional Security

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted on telephone with Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which Putin assured India to provide all possible help against terrorism. Earlier, PM Modi has so far spoken to the heads of 16 countries on this issue. Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed condolences to those killed in the Pahalgam attack and emphasized the need for strict action against the culprits of this disgusting terrorist attack.

Nervousness in Pakistan, China's support

In Pakistan, India's growing attitude is being felt. The Chinese Ambassador met Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, although China did not make any statement on the meeting.  

India did not contact China

It is worth noting that India has not made any contact with China so far after the Pahalgam attack. Prime Minister Modi has spoken to only four countries of the five permanent member countries of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). These countries include the US, Britain, France and Russia. In addition, India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has spoken to foreign ministers from 9 countries out of 10 temporary member countries of UNSC, but India did not have any communication with Pakistan.

UNSC meeting on Pakistan's request

At Pakistan's request, a meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has been called in a closed room, although this meeting does not have much diplomatic significance for India. India has already clarified before attending this meeting that the issue of supporting Pakistan terrorists is primary.

Meeting of Rajnath Singh and Defense Minister of Japan

There was a meeting between India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Japan's Defense Minister Nakatani San, in which India accused Pakistan of promoting cross -border terrorism. Japan supported India about terrorism and said that the international community should work united on this issue.
